Ramping up: Whitewill sales results in January

January traditionally shows the lowest sales figures of the year. This is due to the multi-day New Year holidays and the general state of relaxation when all important matters are postponed. But for us, this is not a reason to sell less. Many of our brokers in January 2024 worked with double the effort.

In total, in January, we sold real estate totaling 6,008,000,000 Russian rubles. More than half – 58% - accounted for Moscow. The rest was distributed among the UAE, the UK, and the USA.

We repeated our January 2023 result. For most Russian agencies, such a figure would be a real breakthrough. But not for Whitewill, because the best of the best always compete with themselves.

Our annual sales plan is 200 billion rubles – that's our main motivation.

We've put together a fresh batch of photos from the new 2-bedroom apartment in the Royal Atlantis after the upgrade. All interiors are designed under the direction of Oleg Torbosov, who personally selected the decor details. Let's take a closer look at them: there are many rare items from different parts of the world.

Beauty in the details

An elegant multi-layered chandelier hangs above the dining table, crafted by Zaha Hadid's bureau. The chairs are from the Poltrona Frau company. The impressive table was made from Italian marble according to the designer's sketches at a manufacturer in the Emirates. The sofa was also custom-made. All artistic fabric wallpapers in the living room and bedroom were imported from Italy.

In the living room, you'll be greeted by the charismatic Tud Toy duck in collaboration with Mike Tyson. Take a look at the master bedroom: all fabrics for the beds and chairs were ordered from England. Initially, they were imported and unloaded at a local factory, and then, according to the designer's project, a bed, bench, and chair were custom-made in a unique design.

Whitewill's big achievements in 2023

Did we manage to sell real estate worth 150 billion rubles in 2023 as planned? We even exceeded our expectations – apartments and houses were sold for 161 billion rubles across all directions. And these are not all developers who have summed up the results: we expect more additions to the collection.

Sportsmanship

With the developer Sminex, we took first place for 3-4 years in a row. Then, we gave up the lead for a year and immediately regained the cup as soon as they merged with Inteco. With the Forma developer, we took 1st place in the total amount of closed deals. All these achievements are essential for attracting new top brokers to the team. After all, it's much more eager to work in Company #1 than in any other.

What else we achieved

We opened offices in Miami and Abu Dhabi and launched departments for rentals, secondary market, and commercial real estate in the Dubai office. We organized 3 trips to resort countries for the company's top employees, 8 dinners with founder Oleg Torbosov, and the summer party Whitewill Sensation, where the cream of Moscow's real estate gathered.

In 2023, 2,700 families and investors bought great apartments or made profitable investments with us. Dozens of well-known athletes, actors, musicians, and showbiz stars purchased real estate with us.

1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai

Today's world is built on content: news feeds, social media, popular and educational videos have become an integral part of each of our lives. And as always, the government of the Emirates keeps up with the trends.

On January 10 and 11, the Billion Followers Summit took place in Dubai, with the participation of 7,000 influencers from different parts of the world. More than 100 speakers, including popular video blogger Habi Laym, Lebanese chef Abir el Saghir, American entrepreneur with 4,000,000 subscribers on YouTube Tom Bilyu, and other famous content creators, delivered inspiring speeches. Event attendees had the opportunity to attend various workshops, masterclasses, and panel discussions aimed at networking development.

At the summit's opening, Sheikh Mohammed announced the creation of a fund with a capital of $41,000,000 and the establishment of a headquarters for bloggers equipped with studios for shooting videos, podcasts, and lecture rooms for courses on creating stories, photography, and platform management.

The fund's mission will be to support content creators about Dubai. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that social media reflects what is happening in people's lives and underscored the importance of content in conveying the story, traditions, and culture of the Emirates.

What Downtown looks like today.

It's hard to believe that not long ago, one of the busiest areas of Dubai was a desert. The ambitious Downtown project began construction in 1998 and for the past 20 years resembled more of a construction site with all its consequences: construction noise, dust, towering cranes, and fences.

Certainly, despite the ongoing construction, the area was one of the most progressive: it is home to the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, the largest mall in the world, Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and the famous singing fountains.

But only now, with all the buildings completed, the full picture of the developer's vision has come together. An architectural ensemble of majestic residential skyscrapers and hotels, combined with all the attributes of city life: cozy cafes, boutiques, promenade areas with dense trees, and business centers. Today, Downtown is a modern district and a bright symbol of Dubai's dynamic development.

That much we have never sold before. December 2023.

Finally, the guys from the finance department managed to analyze all the transactions that the Whitewill team closed in the last days of the outgoing year.

December turned out to be an ultra-record month. Our team accelerated so much that it exceeded all the expectations of Whitewill founder Oleg Torbosov.

As a result, December 2023 entered the history of our company with a sum of 22,400,000,000 rubles. We had never crossed the 20 billion mark before this moment. One might even assume that no real estate agency in the capital had ever sold for such an amount in a month. Never.

70% of the deals were closed in Moscow, and the remaining sales were distributed among our international offices. We have already written about some outstanding deals.

Our team deserved a good rest, so next week our New Year's dinner in Dubai will take place under the sound of Egor Krid, and a little later, as a tradition, Oleg Torbosov, together with the best brokers of the company, will embark on a new journey.

Casino may appear in Dubai

Construction is currently underway on one of the peninsulas near the Burj Al Arab hotel. 3 luxury hotels under the MGM brand, a major casino operator in Las Vegas, will be established here. The project includes approximately 1,000 hotel rooms, promenades, shopping alleys, a theater, restaurants, famous fountains with 3D shows, and luxury beach clubs.

The question of whether there will be a casino remains open. However, with a $1.2 billion investment from one of the leading gaming business providers, there are speculations that Dubai, following Ras Al Khaimah, may open a casino on the sea islands.

This news aligns with the sheikhs' plans to double the GDP over the next 10 years. Gaming zones could attract hundreds of thousands of affluent players, further enhancing Dubai's influence on the global tourism stage.

Whitewill has set a lofty target for itself: to sell real estate valued at 150 billion rubles by the end of 2023. There were one hundred billion in 2022. Every location is taken into account, including Miami, London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Moscow. We have been assisting you in purchasing a new villa, your ideal apartment, or a profitable real estate investment all year long. And in return, you showed us love and positive feedback.

Our brokers completed 181 deals in November for a total of 12,560,000,000 ₽. Moscow brought the most of it, contributing 60% of the overall volume. Abu Dhabi and Dubai follow with 35% each. The remainder was split between Miami and London.

We feared that we would not see the targeted 150 by the end of the year as we could hardly sell real estate worth 5 billion rubles on November 20. However, deals were falling out of a cornucopia already in the final ten days of November. Here, we went into great detail about our heroes, who in just a few days added two billion rubles to the piggy bank. We're heading toward a new record with composure and assurance. And nothing will prevent us.

First successful deals in Miami: Closing the initial deals and receiving the commission

Swiftly following the inauguration of our new Miami office, we celebrated the closure of our first set of deals. Notably, our exceptional broker, Irina Matveeva, spearheaded this achievement. Originating as the top broker in our Moscow office, Irina later transitioned to Dubai, where she continued to thrive, setting an inspiring example for her peers. Remarkably, she remotely orchestrated our inaugural deal in Miami, and here's the full story.

Commemorative debut

Our heartfelt congratulations go to Irina Matveeva for successfully selling an apartment in the esteemed 330 Sunny Isles coastal complex for $925,000. Comprising two towers spanning up to 26 floors, this complex features designer apartments, a cigar room, a business center, a cinema, a children's club, Jacuzzi, outdoor swimming pools, and restaurants. Continuous triumphs

Following Irina's success, Alexey Novikov, the head of our Miami office, made his mark with an achievement of his own. Amidst overseeing the office's inception, Alexey engaged in brokerage and successfully sold an apartment in the Epic Residences complex in the Downtown area for $980,000. This deal involved intricate negotiations with a mortgage broker, spanning two months for document collection and financing acquisition. The result? A favorable mortgage rate, leaving our client delighted.

Earning first commissions

For these initial transactions, we've already secured commissions from the developer, and we're pleased to share this information. Our earnings stand at:

October sales recap

We're steadily progressing towards the 2023 objectives outlined by Oleg Torbosov for the team at the beginning of the year. Each passing month inches us closer to adding substantial sums to our collective achievements. In October, our dedicated team successfully concluded 240 transactions, aggregating to a total of 11.5 billion rubles. Notably, more than half of these accomplishments were attributed to our Moscow office, while the remainder was distributed across other areas of operation.

While these figures may not seem exceptional for a renowned company like Whitewill, it's essential to underscore that our mortgage department achieved a remarkable feat, closing 37 transactions within a single month. For those familiar with this field, the magnitude of this accomplishment is apparent.

We're thrilled to share the exciting news that in October, our American branch, Wiseway, successfully obtained a brokerage license. Currently, the Brickell office in Miami is abuzz with renovation activities, gearing up for an imminent commencement of sales. Simultaneously, preparations are underway for the establishment of an office in Abu Dhabi, which will cater to real estate sales in the capital, alongside houses and apartments in Oman.

Welcoming our Miami brokerage license

Selling apartments in Russia might appear straightforward – you join an agency and can dive right in. However, in the USA, the entry is a bit more demanding. The role of a broker is only open to professionals holding a license issued by a local agency, granted after completing 75 hours of specialized courses and passing a rigorous exam.

Similar stringent criteria apply to companies aiming to sell real estate. So, to ensure we adhere to these regulations, our American branch has secured the long-awaited framed document – a license with seals, signatures, and an expiration date, bearing the bold title WISEWAY REAL ESTATE, LLC. With all the required formalities met, we're now poised to commence operations.

Promising start

Our splendid office in the vibrant Brickell district is undergoing the final stages of setup: furniture is being assembled, and computers and other essential office equipment are slated for imminent delivery. Simultaneously, we're actively in the process of recruiting new team members and preparing for an extensive advertising campaign to establish a presence in this exciting new market.

Countdown to the grand opening

Despite the official office inauguration not yet taking place, our Miami-based brokers have already successfully closed two deals, one of which was valued at approximately $1,000,000. In the coming two weeks, the office will be fully prepared to commence operations, complete with meeting rooms, open workspace, call rooms, comfortable lounge areas, and more. Furthermore, this November, Oleg Torbosov himself will journey to Miami to commemorate the launch of Wiseway in America with a resounding gong strike.
